Another week of 2025 NFL action is officially in the books, and several players certainly stood out enough to warrant being picked up in most fantasy football leagues. Working the waiver wire is one of the best ways to add talent to your roster, and with fantasy football trade deadlines approaching quickly, grabbing instant-impact players from waivers is even more crucial as the playoffs grow nearer.
In this article, we’ll be discussing several players worth adding as we head into Week 11 of the 2025 fantasy football season! Let’s get into the list!
Note: Remember that if you don’t see a certain player on this list who you think deserves to be mentioned, it could be because we have already listed them in a previous article in this series!
Tyler Shough (QB, NO)
1.2% Rostered in ESPN Leagues
New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough was given the chance to start yet again on Sunday, and stood out against a surprisingly outmatched Panthers defense. Carolina struggled to contain the Saints’ playmakers in Chris Olave, Juwan Johnson, and Alvin Kamara, leading to a 17-7 victory for New Orleans.
Shough had an impressive outing, converting 19 of his 27 pass attempts into 282 passing yards and two touchdowns. The rookie made several accurate throws down the field, leading the offense on multiple scoring drives.
There is absolutely room for optimism regarding Shough’s fantasy value. We have already seen fellow rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart emerge as a very startable fantasy quarterback this season, so it’s not hard to imagine another rookie making their mark in the realm of fantasy football. If Shough can put a few more solid starts together, his value should skyrocket significantly, which is why you should stash him on your bench now, just in case that exact scenario occurs.
Overall, Shough had a great outing and has plenty of games in front of him to prove himself as New Orleans’ quarterback of the future.
Tyler Allgeier (RB, ATL)
27.8% Rostered in ESPN Leagues
Fourth-year running back Tyler Allgeier was fantastic against the Indianapolis Colts defense on Sunday, logging 11 carries for 57 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The most pivotal part of Allgeier’s performance was not just the production he was able to register, but also his usage. The former BYU Cougar was given multiple goal-line carries, turning two of them into touchdowns.
It’s been clear since the early part of the season that Atlanta doesn’t want to shy away from giving both of their talented running backs a consistent workload. 11 carries isn’t bad volume compared to Bijan Robinson’s 17; if Allgeier begins to see more carries per game, then he could have serious standalone value.
Overall, Allgeier’s usage has been incredibly encouraging, and his ceiling could be even higher than what we saw on Sunday.
Alec Pierce (WR, IND)
36.5% Rostered in ESPN Leagues
Fourth-year wideout Alec Pierce is currently leading the entire NFL in yards per reception and has quietly become one of the best deep threats in football over the past few years. Pierce is also on pace to set a career-high mark in receiving yards in 2025.
The 2022 second-round pick has been an impactful part of the Colts’ offense since his rookie season, but has made his mark as a downfield receiver even more prominently over the past two years. He’s developed into one of the team’s top receivers and should continue to see consistent volume going forward.
Speaking of volume, the former Cincinnati Bearcat has seen 35 targets over his last four games, also totaling at least 69 receiving yards in every contest during that span. He should be rostered in nearly every fantasy league, but is still only owned in 36.5% of ESPN fantasy leagues.
Grabbing him as a depth piece for the end of your bench is a smart idea. Pierce is the type of player who could have a high-scoring week at any point due to his big-play ability. However, he has also showcased a pretty solid floor in terms of production this season.
For these reasons, he profiles as a prototypical bench receiver for your fantasy team heading into the fantasy playoffs. Stash him before your league mates have the chance to do so.
Parker Washington (WR, JAX)
16.9% Rostered in ESPN Leagues
Parker Washington has easily been the most consistent receiver on the Jacksonville Jaguars during the 2025 NFL season, and it’s not even close. On top of this, his role could grow even more in the coming weeks.
Washington didn’t begin the year in a major role, but has earned volume in this offense due to his consistency and ability to gain extra yards and make incredible plays with his athleticism. Following teammate Travis Hunter’s knee injury that landed him on IR, Washington has seen his role continue to expand.
The former Penn State wide receiver has logged 26 targets over his last three games, showing a clear rise in volume. On Sunday, Washington made the volume count, racking up 33 yards and two total touchdowns. Despite the loss, Washington was one of the best players on the field.
Jags receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) didn’t play against Houston, leaving the door open for Washington to have an explosive afternoon. I trust head coach Liam Coen, and I believe that he’ll keep putting the ball in Washington's hands as long as he keeps making plays. The young receiver is an intriguing pick-up this week.
Juwan Johnson (TE, NO)
35.2% Rostered in ESPN Leagues
Saints tight end Juwan Johnson has quickly shown chemistry with his college teammate, Tyler Shough, at the quarterback position. The veteran tight end was already having a strong season, but he’s now put up two receiving touchdowns over the past two weeks, emerging as a clear red-zone weapon for New Orleans.
On Sunday versus Carolina, Johnson totaled four receptions for 92 receiving yards and one touchdown. If his numbers become more stable with Shough at quarterback, he could be a weekly starter moving forward, which would be incredible for his fantasy value.
Overall, Juwan Johnson has already been proving himself as an effective fantasy tight end, but his value could get closer to reaching its ceiling with Shough under center.
