It’s officially crunch time with the trade deadline right around the corner and injuries hitting teams hard, your leaguemates are panicking more than a college kid during finals week. Bad trades are sent, and the walls seem like they're closing in, but that’s just November for fantasy football.
This is where championships are built; through the panic, elite rosters are created. Today, I’ll be walking you through three buy-low and three sell-high targets to help form that championship team.
Buckle up, open up your rosters, and get ready to make these critical moves to better your fantasy roster.
Buy Low
Chris Olave
New Orleans Saints - WR
Chris Olave’s name was a hot topic heading into the trade deadline, with many believing that he would be off the team before week ten, but instead, his teammate Rashid Shaheed was traded to the Seahawks.
Olave was already having an elite season, averaging 14.1 points per game, and is currently sitting as the WR9 overall.
However, in week nine, Olave only mustered 8.7 PPR points, with 3 receptions for 57 receiving yards.
This disappointing performance came against the Rams, who sport the 13th-best passing defense in the NFL.
Moving forward, Olave should receive a ridiculous share of the Saints’ offense, as he has a lack of competition for targets with Shaheed now gone.
If you need a high-level WR2 to become a championship-level roster, trade for Olave at his lowest price you’ll see this season.
Tyjae Spears
Tennessee Titans - RB
Tyjae Spears came into 2025 with the rumblings of a breakout season, but that was unfortunately derailed by an injury that kept him out for the first four weeks of the season.
When he returned, he started slowly, only averaging 5.8 points through his first three games, but then saw an uptick in usage, where he had a promising game with 17.2 PPR points.
However, in week nine, Spears seemed to have returned to his split role, only having a 45% snap share.
However, lead back Tony Pollard has been providing disappointing numbers through the first nine weeks, allowing Spears to still hold a piece of the workload.
With Spears fully healthy, expect to see Tennessee rely more on the young rusher, providing him as a solid FLEX option as we progress through the fantasy season.
Target Spears as a deep stash and wait for the breakout, then enjoy the FLEX option that he evolves into.
Woody Marks
Houston Texans - RB
Woody Marks has put on a show this season for a former fourth-round selection, totaling 241 rushing yards, 13 receptions, 165 receiving yards, and 3 total touchdowns.
With lead back Joe Mixon out to start the season, Marks started as the backup to Nick Chubb, but quickly saw an increased role, specifically in the passing game.
In college, Marks was a prolific pass catcher, setting the Mississippi State school record for receptions by a running back, and continued this elite pass-catching when he transferred to USC, totaling 47 receptions and 321 receiving yards.
Marks has seen 4 or more targets in three games this season, displaying the three-down ability that he possesses.
Marks’ performance dropped in week 9, as there was a minor injury scare that sidelined him for a part of the game, allowing him to finish with only 2.4 points.
As he heals up, Marks will slowly begin to take over the Houston backfield, and with no return date for Mixon, Marks can dominate the rushing game and be a low-end RB2 for your fantasy teams.
Sell High
Tee Higgins
Cincinnati Bengals - WR
Tee Higgins dropped an insane performance in week nine, with 7 receptions, 121 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns, for a total of 33.1 fantasy points.
However, this WR2 overall performance came against a Bears defense missing two starting cornerbacks in Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon, making Higgins' matchup significantly easier than his usual opponents.
With quarterback Joe Burrow out for the season, consistency is lacking within the Bengals’ receiving core due to Joe Flacco heavily targeting one receiver each week.
On top of inconsistent quarterback play, Higgins has to compete with Ja'Marr Chase each week, limiting the number of targets he can receive.
With teams looking for a “bona fide WR2”, Higgins is certain to draw interest from your leaguemates and look to upgrade to a more consistent option for the remainder of the season.
Marvin Harrison
Arizona Cardinals - WR
The day has come, the Marvin Harrison breakout is upon us… or is it?
In week nine, Harrison finally put it all together, totaling 22.6 PPR points against the Cowboys.
While this number looks great on paper, it came against the 30th-ranked passing defense in the NFL.
Harrison has yet to see a consistent target share in the Cardinals’ offense, averaging just 5.5 targets per game this season.
Additionally, Harrison is without his starting quarterback, Kyler Murray, for another four weeks as he was placed on IR yesterday.
Harrison also has the 6th hardest remaining schedule for wide receivers, meaning he’ll be limited in future games.
Take Harrison’s spectacular performance and flip it into more consistent play, targeting another FLEX option with more week-to-week stability.
D.J. Moore
Chicago Bears - WR
D.J. Moore had an impressive week nine, finishing with 22.98 fantasy points, which were heavily propelled by a rushing and passing touchdown.
This elite performance also came against the Bengals' passing defense, which ranks in the bottom quarter of the league.
While the stats look great, Moore also has to compete with fellow receivers Colston Loveland and Rome Odunze, minimizing the targets he’ll receive.
Without his touchdown production, which accounted for 43.5% of his output, Moore would have been the WR30 in week nine.
Sell Moore at his peak value, and target a consistent WR2 or FLEX option that can help you in your championship push.
Final Thoughts
Now is the time when the contenders separate themselves from the pretenders and solidify themselves as elite fantasy managers.
With the trade market buzzing louder than ever, now is the time to target these players where the value is too good to pass up.
The players I listed above all fit the mold of great value, whether that be for selling or buying, and they should all be priority targets heading into week ten.
Make sure to check back in next week for more buy-low and sell-high advice, and go make a push for your fantasy championships!
