Omarion Hampton
My Ranking - 23
KTC Ranking - 23
Selected 22nd overall by Los Angeles, Omarion Hampton was one of my favorite players in this entire draft class on either side of the ball in the 2025 NFL Draft. His tape is incredibly fun to watch as he brings intense physicality and size, as well as surprising speed and elusiveness to the running back position.
Hampton is a well-balanced running back who has the chance to make an instant impact for the Chargers, who will be in playoff contention. As a prospect, he’s close to Ashton Jeanty in terms of talent. He’ll be a valuable dynasty asset because of his complete skill set as a rusher and his potential contributions as a receiver.
Hampton has some of the best contact balance I’ve ever seen in a running back and is a home-run threat every single play. He’s the type of player you can build your rushing attack around, and I would be surprised if he doesn’t overtake veteran Najee Harris in carries by the end of the season.
Hampton is a pick for teams who are okay with letting him develop for a year. He has a fairly minimal chance to breakout into his full potential as a rookie due to the presence of Harris in this backfield, so his best years will likely come post-2025. However, that’s not to say he won’t have any value during his rookie season. He's automatic on the goal-line and able to rip off massive runs.
In the end, Hampton’s incredible profile as a prospect gives him one of the highest ceilings of any running back in the NFL. In most years, he would've easily been the top running back prospect. He’s a great pick in the second round of dynasty startup drafts.
Drake London
My Ranking - 11
KTC Ranking - 17
Drake London is becoming massively underrated as a dynasty asset. At just 23 years old, he finished as a top-five fantasy receiver in 2024. That is an incredible feat, especially considering the shaky quarterback situation he dealt with last season.
The USC product is still one of the NFL’s youngest receivers, and we’ve already seen his potential. If his 187-yard outing during Week 18 of the 2024 season with a rookie Michael Penix Jr. under center says anything about his potential production in 2025, London could continue his dominance into his fourth professional season.
Penix and London have the opportunity to develop into one of the best young offensive duos in football. London is incredibly talented and well-balanced; he’s a talented route-runner, a beast in contested-catch situations, an impressive weapon in all areas of the field, and undeniably athletic.
158 targets, 100 receptions, 1,271 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns may be hard to match this season, but if Penix shows more flashes of brilliance at the quarterback position, London’s ceiling could rise even higher. He is on track to become a top-five NFL receiver in no time.
De’Von Achane
My Ranking - 20
KTC Ranking - 22
Dolphins running back De’Von Achane became one of the more dominant PPR assets in dynasty fantasy football in 2024. He led all running backs in receptions and receiving yards while tying the lead for receiving touchdowns last season. With 203 carries, 907 rushing yards, and six rushing scores on top of this, it’s hard to argue with Achane’s place on this list.
Heading into his third NFL season, Achane has spent significant time at multiple positions in his career. Last season, he took 495 snaps lined up as a running back and 138 snaps lined up as a slot receiver. He’s a true dual-threat offensive weapon and could receive even more volume this season.
Achane has also shown the ability to maintain astounding efficiency so far in his career. On 306 career carries, Achane has averaged a whopping 5.6 yards per carry over the first two seasons of his career. He’s an extremely valuable dynasty asset who will likely finish as a top-seven running back in 2025.
In 2025 dynasty fantasy football, Achane should be viewed as an elite second-round selection. It’s hard to imagine a better running back for PPR formats, and Achane has proven his value as a rusher and a receiver. He’s a safe selection as long as he stays healthy.
