Dynasty Cornerstones

(Top Assets Under-25)

1. Victor Wembanyama

(C, San Antonio Spurs)

2024-25 stats: 24.4 PPG,

10.8 RPG, 3.7 APG, 1.1 SPG,

3.9 BPG, 48% FG,

36% 3FG, 84% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A+, Age: 21

At just 21 years old in his second season, Wembanyama is the undisputed best player under 25 in the league and rivaled only by Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in terms of overall value in dynasty leagues. Improving on a historic rookie year, Wemby has upped his PPG and BPG output while improving his shooting efficiency at all three levels. Curbing his relatively high turnover rate (3.5 per game) would only further balloon his value in his MVP-level seasons to come.

2. Anthony Edwards

(SG, Minnesota Timberwolves)

2024-25 stats: 26.4 PPG

5.7 RPG, 4.4 APG, 1.2 SPG

0.6 BPG, 44% FG,

42% 3FG, 83% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A+, Age: 23

While not quite on Wemby’s level, Edwards has firmly established himself as one of the best players in the league with a third straight season posting All-NBA caliber numbers. Critics have noted his struggles from inside the arc, as he is shooting the worst two-point efficiency of his career (47%), but his distance shooting has never been better (4.1 3PM, 42% 3FG).

3. Cade Cunningham

(PG, Detroit Pistons)

2024-25 stats: 25.0 PPG

6.4 RPG, 9.3 APG, 0.9 SPG

0.8 BPG, 45% FG

36% 3FG, 83% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A, Age: 23

Cunningham has put it all together in year-four, leading the Pistons to their first season in playoff contention since he came into the league with improvements in nearly every statistical category including 9.3 assists per game, third-best in the league. Cade needs to cut down on turnovers (4.6 per game) but projects as an elite point guard for the foreseeable future.

4. Evan Mobley

(PF, Cleveland Cavaliers)

2024-25 stats: 18.2 PPG

9.1 RPG, 2.8 APG, 0.9 SPG

1.4 BPG, 57% FG

40% 3FG, 75% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A, Age: 23

Mobley was already a hot dynasty commodity over his first three seasons, but made exactly the kind of fourth season improvement that fantasy managers love to see: three-point shooting. Mobley has already doubled his three-point production from last season on 40% from beyond the arc while remaining a devastating interior scorer and an elite defensive presence.

5. Tyrese Maxey

(PG, Philadelphia 76ers)

2024-25 stats: 27.1 PPG

3.5 RPG, 6.0 APG, 1.9 SPG

0.4 BPG, 44% FG

34% 3FG, 87% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A, Age: 24

Last year’s Most Improved Player has been a bright spot for the underperforming 76ers, picking up where he left off last season, unfazed by a career-high usage rate of 32%. Maxey has improved as a midrange shooter and ranks seventh in the league in steals per game (1.9) but has dropped off slightly in three-point efficiency.

Honorable Mention

Paolo Banchero

(PF, Orlando Magic)

2024-25 stats: 23.7 PPG

7.7 RPG, 4.8 APG, 0.6 SPG

0.7 BPG, 44% FG

33% 3FG, 64% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A, Age: 22

Banchero had fans and fantasy managers thrilled with 29 PPG in his first five outings this season before missing 24 games with an oblique tear. In 10 games since returning, he has regressed significantly, averaging 21.1 PPG and shooting just 41% from the field, but optimism remains that more recovery time is necessary and that Banchero’s early season production at all three levels is a sign of future dominance.

Diminishing Returns

(Stalled Development from Projected Studs)

1. Jonathan Kuminga

(PF, Golden State Warriors)

2024-25 stats: 16.8 PPG

5.0 RPG, 2.2 APG, 0.9 SPG

0.6 BPG, 46% FG

35% 3FG, 64% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B-, Age: 22

Kuminga has been labeled as a potential breakout candidate and high-value trade target for a few years now, but took a step backwards this season with a career-low 46% from the field after three straight 51%+ campaigns. Despite terrific athleticism and versatility, Kuminga has failed to develop meaningfully enough as a passer or defender to warrant the playtime he is still receiving.

2. Keegan Murray

(PF, Sacramento Kings)

2024-25 stats: 11.9 PPG

7.1 RPG, 1.4 APG, 0.8 SPG

0.9 BPG, 43% FG

31% 3FG, 82% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: C+, Age: 24

Murray excited fans as a rookie showcasing three-and-D wing potential, but his three-point percentage has dropped off considerably each season and he is averaging a career-low 11.9 points per game. Murray will continue to earn minutes from his solid defensive play, but with minimal contributions as playmaker, he will need his shooting touch to return to be a valuable fantasy asset going forward.

3. Zaccharie Risacher

(SF, Atlanta Hawks)

2024-25 stats: 11.0 PPG

3.5 RPG, 1.2 APG, 0.8 SPG

0.5 BPG, 41% FG

30% 3FG, 69% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B-, Age: 22

This draft class was known to be historically poor going into the season, but the first overall pick has been particularly disappointing, even with low expectations. Risacher is shooting just 41% from the field and 30% from three while contributing next to nothing as a playmaker or defensive presence. Improvement in a different environment also appears unlikely.

CraftedNBA’s Portability metric, an estimate of how well a player would fit with a random selection of teammates, places him bottom of the league in the 1st percentile. That said, his best game of the season came last night and may have been a turning point with 30 points on 11-14 FG and 5-6 from three.

4. Jaime Jaquez Jr

(SF, Miami Heat)

2024-25 stats: 9.3 APG

4.7 RPG, 2.7 APG, 1.2 SPG

0.2 BPG, 44% FG

31% 3FG, 75% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: C, Age: 23

In his first campaign, Jaquez finished fourth in Rookie of the Year and top-ten in Sixth Man of the Year voting, but has seen his scoring production and efficiency fall off in year-two. Particularly worrisome is Jaquez’s under-50% efficiency in the paint, where he shot 58% last season and was known for his crafty bucket-getting.

5. Coby White

(PG, Chicago Bulls)

2024-25 stats: 18.2 PPG

3.4 RPG, 4.6 APG, 1.0 SPG

0.2 BPG, 44% FG

36% 3FG, 88% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B, Age: 24

White’s numbers are only slightly worse than last season’s, but many saw his 2023-24 as a potential stepping stone towards superstardom, which appears to have been premature. A change of scenery may be necessary for White, whose defensive shortcomings are unable to be made up for by the likes of Ayo Dosunmu, Zach LaVine, and Josh Giddey.

Honorable Mention

Reed Sheppard

(PG, Houston Rockets)

2024-25 stats: 3.2 PPG

1.3 RPG, 1.2 APG, 0.5 SPG

0.3 BPG, 32% FG

27% 3FG, 83% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: C+, Age: 20

Some were high on Sheppard’s ability to post relevant fantasy numbers as a rookie after posting a 52% three-point rate at Kentucky, but the third-overall pick has struggled for minutes on a competitive Rockets team. His limited playtime has been a struggle thus far, making just 39 of 124 field goals, including 20-73 from three. Hope is not lost, though, as Sheppard posted an impressive 30.7 PPG and 40.5% 3FG in three games so far in the G League.

Rising Stock

(Under-the-Radar & Under-25)

1. Zach Edey

(C, Milwaukee Bucks)

2024-25 stats: 9.6 PPG

7.5 RPG, 0.9 APG, 0.6 SPG

1.2 BPG, 58% FG

39% 3FG, 66% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B

Although he was a dominant force over his final two years at Purdue, projections were reserved for the 7’4 ninth overall pick, particularly in terms of offensive versatility. Edey converted just one three-pointer in four college seasons, but has shattered expectations in the NBA over his first 34 games, already making 14-37 from deep, while impressing as the interior presence many expected to see.

2. Scoot Henderson

(PG, Portland Trail Blazers)

2024-25 stats: 12.6 PPG

5.2 APG, 3.0 RPG, 1.1 SPG

0.3 BPG, 43% FG

36% 3FG, 77% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B+, Age: 20

After a tough rookie season, Henderson has improved his shooting efficiency substantially this year on twos and threes and continues to demonstrate strong potential as a creator. In a slightly reduced role off the bench, Henderson is in the upper-third league-wide in assist to usage ratio (1.18).

3. Shaedon Sharpp

(SG, Portland Trail Blazers)

2024-25 stats: 17.5 PPG

2.5 APG, 4.0 RPG, 0.8 SPG

0.3 BPG, 45% FG

32% 3FG, 80% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B, Age: 21

Like his Portland backcourt mate, Sharpe has moved on from poor field goal percentage last season (41%) with a more respectable 45% rate this year to go along with an increase in scoring output. Sharpe’s potential lies in combining his ridiculous athleticism with long range shooting and he has done so in his last three games, shooting 8-17 from beyond the arc.

Sharpe and Henderson will each need to make dramatic improvements on the other side of the ball to continue earning minutes, as both rank near the bottom of the league on many advanced defensive metrics.

4. Mark Williams

(C, Charlotte Hornets)

2024-25 stats: 15.5 PPG

9.4 RPG, 2.5 APG, 0.7 SPG

1.2 BPG, 61% FG

0% 3FG, 75% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B-, Age: 23

Williams has quietly established himself as one of the league’s most dependable interior presences, with steady PPG increases over his first three seasons and solid defensive metrics at the rim. Williams provides nothing from three, but can be a consistent boon to your points, rebounds, and blocks categories, and has even gone for five assists in two of his last three outings.

5. Jeremy Sochan

(PF, San Antonio Spurs)

2024-25 stats: 12.6 PPG

7.6 RPG, 2.6 APG, 1.0 SPG

0.6 BPG, 53% FG

29% 3FG, 71% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B, Age: 21

A great rebounder for his size and a versatile defensive stopper, Sochan posted interesting, but not necessarily eye-popping numbers in his first two seasons. The San Antonio forward, still just 21 years old, has taken a significant leap in year-three as a more selective shooter, taking 53% of his shots within three feet, and seen a nearly 10-point bump to his field goal percentage as a result.

Honorable Mention

Kel’el Ware

(C, Miami Heat)

2024-25 stats: 8.5 PPG

4.8 RPG, 0.6 APG, 0.6 SPG

1.0 BPG, 56% FG

41% 3FG, 73% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: B, Age: 20

Like Edey, Ware has grabbed attention for his distance shooting from the center position, but the Heat’s seven-footer actually has the pedigree to back up his successful shooting stroke, having made 32-95 threes over two collegiate seasons. While he has not yet earned enough minutes as Bam Adebayo’s backup to warrant serious fantasy consideration, Ware’s offensive versatility and elite rim defense should make him an asset in the near future

Future Faces

Top Dynasty Assets in the 2025 Draft

1. Cooper Flagg

(G, Duke Blue Devils)

2024-25 stats: 19.9 PPG

8.0 RPG, 4.1 APG, 1.5 SPG

1.2 BPG, 49% FG

33% 3FG, 81% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A+, Age: 18

Having just turned 18 years old last month, Flagg has been exactly as advertised as a freshman for Duke, filling up the box score on a nightly basis with particularly high blocks, steals, and assists averages for a 6’9 player. Flagg is clearly NBA-ready after holding his own in a Summer 2024 scrimmage against Team USA and will undoubtedly put up monster numbers across all categories from the get go.

2. Ace Bailey

(G, Rutgers Scarlet Knights)

2024-25 stats: 20.7 PPG

7.8 RPG, 0.8 APG, 1.1 SPG

1.4 BPG, 48% FG

41% 3FG, 68% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A, Age 18

Bailey has a similar build to Flagg, is arguably more athletic, and has demonstrated a better shooting touch from deep, converting 15-25 threes over his last games. Bailey will certainly shine as a rookie, but his minimal role as a creator (zero assists in his last three games) restricts him from threatening for the number one pick.

3. Dylan Harper

(G, Rutgers Scarlet Knights)

2024-25 stats: 19.0 PPG

5.1 RPG, 3.8 APG, 0.9 SPG

0.7 BPG, 50% FG

34% 3FG, 72% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A-, Age: 18

As expected, Harper and Bailey have combined to form one of the most impressive freshman tandems in recent memory. Harper projects as more of the bucket-getter mold of the two, with 11 20+ point performances already this season, but has shown flashes of skillful contributions in other areas, including a triple-double performance against Columbia last month.

4. Kasparas Jakucionis

(G, Illinois Fighting Illini)

2024-25 stats: 15.9 PPG

5.4 RPG, 5.4 APG, 1.1 SPG

0.2 BPG, 49% FG

38% 3FG, 87% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A-, Age: 18

Illinois’ Lithuanian guard is the only Power-Five player averaging 5+ assists and rebounds per game and pairs that with 16 PPG on efficient 48/37/86 splits. With good size at 6’6, expect Jakucionis to immediately contribute at the NBA-level as a multidimensional shot creator.

5. Rasheer Fleming

(F, Saint Joseph’s Hawks)

2024-25 stats: 15.6 PPG

9.0 RPG, 1.4 APG, 1.6 SPG

1.5 BPG, 56% FG

40% 3FG, 68% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A-, Age: 20

Fleming is flying up draft boards with stat sheet stuffing performances and extremely efficient shooting on a regular basis. While a slightly older prospect as a 20-year-old junior, Fleming’s 6’9, 240-pound frame and ability to stretch the floor make him an intriguing option for pro squads needing frontcourt help.

Honorable Mention

VJ Edgecombe

(G, Baylor Bears)

2024-25 stats: 14.9 PPG

5.3 RPG, 3.3 APG, 2.3 SPG

0.8 BPG, 44% FG

39% 3FG, 77% FT

Dynasty Value Grade: A-, Age: 19

Edgecombe has been a projected top-five pick since preseason but really picked things up recently, averaging 26.3 over his last three games after just one 20-point performance prior to that. The Baylor freshman has solidified himself in the elite tier of this draft class with an appealing combination of elite athleticism (see his opening night dunk against Gonzaga) and three-point efficiency (over 50% in his last seven outings).
