Biggest 2025 Riser
Colston Loveland
Michigan (TE)
I’ve been creating my 2025 dynasty rookie rankings and 2025 dynasty rookie mock drafts for a few months now. Colston Loveland was always a player that in those mocks or rankings, I would rank way too low. After watching Loveland play in person and getting the chance to dive into his profile more, I’m extremely high on him. A lot of mock drafts have him as a late first round NFL Draft pick which makes this top 12 selection easy.
It’s typically hard for tight ends to produce in college, but as a true sophomore on a run-heavy Michigan team, Loveland had 45 catches for 649 yards and four touchdowns. When I watched Loveland play #22 ranked Illinois, he looked incredible. Loveland moves extremely well; he’s used like a big slot receiver, and his hands are fantastic. Stats can be deceiving, as I watched Loveland get overthrown or missed over and over by Michigan’s terrible quarterback play.
Loveland reminds me of a Brock Bowers-type player, except he’s been ranked much lower at this point in the year. Bowers is the TE1 on KTC and he’s in a horrible situation. If Loveland can use his athleticism at the NFL level, he’s going to be a problem.
