2025 Rookie Spotlight
Nick Singleton, (RB, Penn State)
One player that seems to be going under the radar is Nick Singleton from Penn State. The reason why is that the team is also using Junior running back Kaytron Allen, and up to this point, they both have 53 carries on the year. The difference is that Singleton has 408 yards (7.8 YPC) and Allen has 289 (5.5 YPC). This honestly should be a plus for Singleton because it helps limit the amount of tread he’ll have on his tires.
The most impressive part about Singleton’s profile is that he broke out as a Freshman running for 1,061 yards (6.8 YPC), 12 touchdowns, 11 receptions, and 85 receiving yards. He would go on to improve his pass catching skills to an 11.8 YPR mark (26 catches, 308 yards) which is very translatable to fantasy success. Due to his limited workload in 2024, Singleton isn’t being talked about nearly as much, but he’s a name you should have your eye on.
