5 Rookies Who Will Make an Instant Impact in Dynasty Fantasy Football

With the dynasty season closing in fast, it's essential to find rookies that can have an immediate impact on your dynasty team, not just in the future.

Landing a rookie who produces immediately can help propel your roster into contention and give you an elite long-term asset that produces for many years.

The 2025 rookie class isn't all about the quarterbacks, as it offers value at every position with players that can produce immediately on a dynasty roster.

Whether it's through an NFL-ready skill set, favorable depth charts, or an offensive scheme fit, these players all offer immediate impact as starters on their respective teams.

Jack Bech

Las Vegas Raiders - WR

The Raiders drafted Jack Bech in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft from TCU.

Bech was brought into an offense anchored by veteran Jakobi Meyers and dynamic tight end Brock Bowers, meaning he has a chance to prove himself as a reliable option immediately.

In 2024, Bech had a breakout season at TCU, becoming the program’s fifth receiver to amass 1,000+ receiving yards in a season.

Bech was known for his elite hands at TCU, having only one drop on 91 total targets through the 2024 season, and also for his physical route running skills, being a former tight end converted to play receiver.

While Meyers and Bowers both have steady roles in the offense, Bech can quickly take over the receiving room if he builds rapport with new quarterback Geno Smith and showcases his elite hands and route-running abilities.

While reports out of camp favor fellow rookie Dont’e Thornton, Bech offers a steady target for the Raiders and will have many opportunities to move up in the room through his polished skill set and draft pedigree.

TreVeyon Henderson

New England Patriots - RB

The New England Patriots drafted TreVeyon Henderson with the 38th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, pairing him with sophomore quarterback Drake Maye and new head coach Mike Vrabel.

In his time at Ohio State, Henderson totaled 4,614 scrimmage yards and 48 touchdowns, averaging 6.4 yards per carry throughout his career, finishing as one of Ohio State’s best running backs of all time.

While his 2024 season was disappointing statistically, due to a split backfield with Quinshon Judkins, Henderson reminded everyone of his elite athletic profile at the NFL Combine, posting a 4.43 40-yard dash, 38.5” vertical, and a 10’8” broad jump.

Henderson offers elite upside as a pass-catcher, while also excelling in pass protection, meaning he has the skillset to be a three-down running back in the NFL, offering more opportunities to produce immediately.

On Henderson’s first NFL opportunity, he had a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown and finished the preseason game with eight touches for 130 all-purpose yards, showcasing his elite big-play ability.

Expect Henderson to take charge of the New England offense, and expect him to make big waves as a rookie, having the potential to finish as a top-ten running back in 2025.

RJ Harvey

Denver Broncos - RB

RJ Harvey became the highest drafted running back in UCF history when the Broncos selected him with he 60th pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.

While many saw the pick as a surprise, Broncos management, led by head coach Sean Payton, loved what they saw early in the draft process, marking Harvey as the second-best running back in the class.

Harvey was an explosive athlete in college, leading the NCAA in 10+ yard runs and an explosive run rate of 20.7%, while having a 33.2% eluded tackle rate as well.

In a Sean Payton-led offense, running backs are known to be heavily involved in the passing game, and with Harvey’s athletic profile and receiving successes in college, he is primed to take over that receiving role.

While the team brought in J.K. Dobbins during the offseason, Harvey’s perfect fit into Denver’s system allows owners to start Harvey and receive immediate impact from his receiving playstyle.

Tetairoa McMillan

Carolina Panthers - WR

Tetairoa McMillan was drafted with the 8th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, making him the highest-selected player in Arizona history.

The Panthers received several offers for their pick, specifically a “significant” offer from the Rams, to stay at pick eight and select McMillan, showing the faith that they have in him for their system.

McMillan exploded in his sophomore and junior campaigns, totaling 2,721 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns.

At the Combine, McMillan ran a 4.48 40-yard dash and measured at a looming 6’4, bringing his elite length and speed to a receiving room in need of an alpha WR1.

With quarterback Bryce Young going into his third season, the Panthers added McMillan to provide a top-tier receiving option, which they have lacked throughout Young’s first three years.

McMillan should be able to step directly into the WR1 role in Carolina, providing immediate impact to fantasy owners in need of a high-end player, with his smooth route-running, contested catch ability, and body control.

Matthew Golden

Green Bay Packers - WR

In Green Bay on the night of the 2025 NFL Draft, not many people knew who was going to be taken with the 23rd pick, but when Matthew Golden’s name was called, the city of Green Bay exploded, cheering for the team’s first first-round wide receiver selection since 2002.

In 2024, Golden posted 58 catches, 987 yards, and 9 touchdowns, showcasing his elite speed and playmaking ability.

At the Combine, Golden wowed the NFL community, running a 4.29 40-yard dash, the fastest among all wide receivers in this year's class.

Golden is expected to take on the WR1 role this year in Green Bay, being the team’s primary outside receiver, allowing him to showcase his speed and deep-threat ability.

While the competition for the Green Bay receiving room may seem stiff with Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, and Romeo Doubs all receiving meaningful minutes last year, these concerns should be dampened with Reed playing primarily from the slot, and Watson and Doubs both having less draft capital invested in them.

Golden provides an elite immediate impact with top-tier quarterback Jordan Love having a full, healthy season to produce, and should provide a quick return on dynasty managers' investment heading into the 2025 season.
