Heading into the 2025 dynasty fantasy football season, the wide receiver position is filled with high-upside assets. Many young receivers took a massive leap in 2024, so this year should be no different.
With many exciting rookies and productive veterans to choose from in startup drafts, this ranking of the top 24 receivers in 2025 dynasty leagues should serve as a guide.
1. Ja’Marr Chase (CIN)
This placement is somewhat obvious to me. Ja’Marr Chase is the best receiver in the NFL, although Justin Jefferson is a close second. Chase will continue to dominate after a triple crown season in 2024, leading the NFL in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. Cincinnati also rewarded him with a four-year, $161 million extension this offseason, locking him as a long-term piece in their offense.
2. Justin Jefferson (MIN)
Justin Jefferson has been one of the league's best receivers since he was drafted by Minnesota in 2020. His production has been elite and consistent despite a few changes at the quarterback position over the past half-decade, so I’m not worried about his dynasty outlook with J.J. McCarthy under center. He’s a generational talent and a top-tier dynasty asset.
3. Malik Nabers (NYG)
Nabers, another LSU product, compiled 1,204 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns in his rookie season in New York while dealing with a revolving door at the quarterback position. The Giants selected Jaxson Dart in the first round of the 205 NFL Draft, locking him in as their quarterback of the future. I expect Nabers to improve upon his stellar rookie campaign in his sophomore season, cementing himself as one of the best receivers in the NFL.
4. CeeDee Lamb (DAL)
CeeDee Lamb managed to put together a great season despite his starting quarterback, Dak Prescott, being sidelined with a hamstring injury for most of the year. Lamb has a history of fantastic production, so it will be no surprise when he puts together a bounce-back season in 2025. He is a top-five receiver in the NFL, so don’t hesitate to draft him like one in startup drafts.
5. Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET)
If you’ve been searching for a consistent presence at the receiver position, look no further. Amon-Ra St. Brown has become a staple of Detroit’s elite offense, posting 1,100+ receiving yards and 6+ receiving touchdowns in each of the past three seasons. With Jared Goff at quarterback, this trend should continue as St. Brown enters his fifth NFL season.
6. Puka Nacua (LAR)
Puka Nacua set the record for most receiving yards by a rookie in NFL history back in 2023, posting 1,486 yards in a stellar 17-game season. While Nacua struggled with injury in 2024, he still found a way to put together 990 receiving yards in only 11 games. Nacua’s elite efficiency makes him an elite receiver in dynasty fantasy football for years to come.
7. Brian Thomas Jr. (JAX)
Brian Thomas Jr. had an elite rookie season in 2024, including 1,282 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns. Going forward, he should have no issue consistently finishing as a top-ten receiver in fantasy football, and at only 22 years old, he’s worth an early pick in startup drafts. This offense should open up even more with rookie wideout Travis Hunter in town.
8. Drake London (ATL)
Drake London had a true breakout season in 2024, finishing as a top-five receiver in fantasy football. He is only 23 years old and has secured himself as one of the elite receivers in dynasty formats. London’s 187-yard performance in Week 18 with quarterback Michael Penix Jr. under center makes me optimistic that the pair can become one of the league’s best quarterback/receiver duos.
9. Nico Collins (HOU)
Houston’s top receiver only played in 12 contests during the 2024 season but was still able to register 1,006 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns. Houston added more talent at the receiver position by drafting Iowa State receiving duo Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel this offseason, so Houston’s offense has a clear path to become one of the most dynamic in the NFL this year.
10. Ladd McConkey (LAC)
Ladd McConkey developed quick chemistry with quarterback Justin Herbert during his rookie season. The pair should be one of the league’s best going forward, and there’s a clear path for McConkey to remain the team’s leader at the receiver position. He should perform similarly in 2025, making him a valuable player to roster in dynasty formats.
11. Jaxon Smith-Njigba (SEA)
The Ohio State product took a massive leap forward in 2024, setting statistical career-highs across the board. With Sam Darnold at quarterback, I expect Jaxon Smith-Njigba to remain Seattle’s leading receiver despite the nature of the team’s boom-or-bust offense heading into 2025. Smith-Njigba should be Seattle’s go-to option in his third season.
12. A.J. Brown (PHI)
Like many other receivers, A.J. Brown struggled with injuries in 2024, which limited him to only 13 games. The veteran receiver was still able to post 1,079 receiving yards on his way to a Super Bowl title, and I expect him to return as Philly’s top receiver this season. Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts will dominate on the ground, but Brown and DeVonta Smith are necessary for this offense to have an effective passing attack.
13. Marvin Harrison Jr. (ARI)
After a solid rookie season in 2024, Marvin Harrison Jr. enters his second season as Arizona’s top receiver. Harrison was an elite prospect entering the league last year, so it’s impossible to doubt his talent. I expect him to take a step toward greatness this year, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he finishes as a top-12 receiver in 2025.
14. Tetairoa McMillan (CAR)
The eighth-overall pick in this year’s draft, Tetairoa McMillaon projects as a future go-to target for Bryce Young and the Panthers offense. He should fit into the team seamlessly as a yards-after-catch threat with a massive frame and reliable hands. McMillan’s ceiling is extremely high, and he should make an instant impact in Carolina.
15. Travis Hunter (JAX)
For good reason, Travis Hunter is the second rookie to make this list. Hunter possesses generational ball skills and shines in contested-catch situations. Next to Brian Thomas Jr., defenses will have trouble containing Hunter as they try to find a way to stop two talented receivers. However, there is risk in projecting Hunter’s role due to the fact that he will likely play a portion of his snaps at defensive back at some point, which could limit his snaps at the receiver position. He’s a high-risk, high-reward prospect in dynasty and will be a game-changer in Jacksonville.
16. Tee Higgins (CIN)
Tee Higgins and teammate Ja’Marr Chase were awarded contract extensions this offseason. This locks Higgins in as a vital piece of Cincinnati's offense for the next few seasons. The former Clemson star has displayed athleticism and dominance at the catch point through his first five years in the NFL. If Higgins can stay healthy, he will remain productive.
17. Garrett Wilson (NYJ)
After winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2022, Garrett Wilson has struggled to take the next step as a fantasy asset. This isn’t totally his fault, of course, New York hasn’t been able to field a great offense around him, especially at the quarterback position. If he can turn back the clock with his college teammate, Justin Fields, at quarterback in 2025, Wilson could be in for a breakout season.
18. Rome Odunze (CHI)
Rome Odunze had a decent rookie season in an underwhelming Bears offense in 2024. Chicago couldn’t protect quarterback Caleb Williams up front, so the passing attack suffered as a whole. Odunze is facing target competition with DJ Moore, Colston Loveland, and Luther Burden III, but the Bears’ passing attack could be prolific enough to support all four in 2025. The former Washington Husky is a well-rounded receiver who could take over as the top target for Williams in his sophomore season.
19. DeVonta Smith (PHI)
Entering 2025, DeVonta Smith is coming off of a Super Bowl victory. He will likely reprise his role as Philly’s complement to A.J. Brown and turn in yet another productive fantasy season. I expect Smith to stick around Philadelphia for a long time, and I expect him to be fantasy-relevant as long as he does.
20. Zay Flowers (BAL)
Zay Flowers took over as Baltimore’s top receiving threat in 2024, posting 1,059 receiving yards. While the heartbeat of this offense lies in the rushing attack with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, Flowers should receive enough volume to finish as a top-20 receiver in fantasy football, especially with Lamar Jackson under center.
21. Xavier Worthy (KC)
Xavier Worthy became a consistent contributor down the stretch of the 2024 season, and I expect him to take on a bigger role in 2025. His speed and versatility will allow head coach Andy Reid to use him in a variety of ways in this offense, and Worthy could be in for a massive sophomore campaign.
22. Jaylen Waddle (MIA)
Jaylen Waddle, like the rest of Miami’s offense, found almost no production when quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was sidelined with yet another concussion for an entire month during the 2024 season. If Tua can stay healthy, Waddle should have no trouble returning to form as a valuable receiver in dynasty leagues. The Alabama product has finished with 1,000+ receiving yards in each season during which Tua has played more than 11 games; this trend has the opportunity to continue in 2025.
23. Jordan Addison (MIN)
Jordan Addison has developed into the perfect complement to star wideout Justin Jefferson. Addison, Jefferson, and tight end T.J. Hockenson will take on the majority of the receiving volume in 2025, and with J.J. McCarthy under center, Addison’s fantasy finish will have a wide range of outcomes. Don’t sleep on head coach Kevin O’Connell’s offense in 2025. Addison is only 23 years old and could develop a strong chemistry with McCarthy as the perfect WR2.
24. Jameson Williams (DET)
Detroit’s Jameson Williams finally broke out in 2024, compiling 1,001 receiving yards as the Lions’ big-play threat. Williams also recorded a whopping 17.26 yards per catch last season, making him one of fantasy football’s best deep-threat receivers. He should be locked in as Detroit’s second receiver, next to Amon-Ra St. Brown.
